This itinerary is ideal for people that enjoy moderate physical activities and at the same time don’t want to miss the comfort of a regular hotel in Flores. This 4 day-package includes a canopy tour, walks in the rainforest, the crossing of a suspension bridge, horseback riding, biking and/or a tractor ride through a fruit plantation. You will also get to know ancient Mayan cities of the area and follow the path of the Survivor show. If you would like to extend your stay in Guatemala, we can combine this survivor package with other highlights, such as the Colonial City of Antigua, the market in Chichi or Lake Atitlan with its spectacular volcanoes.

Day 1: Visit of Tikal National Park...
In the heart of the Guatemalan jungle lays the mysterious Mayan city of Tikal. In this remote region, one of the greatest civilizations of all the times constructed a city that lived during centuries. The site of Tikal is in a national park where you will experience history surrounded by flora and fauna. Our visit last about 4 hours and includes lunch at a restaurant in the park. Later that afternoon, we take you back to your hotel in Flores. L

Day 2: Flores – Canopy Tour – Yaxha – Flores...
After breakfast we head out to the rainforest towards the biggest Canopy Tour in the area. It consists of 13 platforms that are 40 to 116 meters separated from each other. You will slide from one tree to the next to enjoy the tropical vegetation and a gliding experience for an unforgettable experience! After these exciting moments we will go towards Yaxha (where Survivor was filmed) to visit this special site located next to Lake Yaxha. We will see impressive pyramids, stelaes and beautiful tropical vegetation. Box lunch included. B, L

Day 3: Flores – Caves of Aktun Kan – Ixpanpajul Park – Flores...
Today you have some time to explore Flores on your own in the morning. We meet for lunch at the hotel and then take to visit the caves of Aktun Kan, an ancient ritual site of the Mayans. From Aktun Kan we will walk about 2 hours through rainforest. Will walk over suspension bridges to see the forest as the birds see it! After arriving at the viewpoint we’ll rest for half an hour and then continue by bicycle, horseback or tractor (your choice) to a plantation of fruit trees. In the early evening we will visit the forest by night to see the nocturnal fauna. Then return to your hotel Flores. B, L

Day 4: Flores – Guatemala City...
After breakfast we will take you back to the airport of Flores for a short flight back to Guatemala City. B
